DO NOT DELETE from public_html
  .htaccess, .well-known/, cgi-bin/, jcco/, picoorg_jcco/  (the JCCO journal lives there)

STEPS
  1. cPanel > File Manager > public_html
  2. Delete only: index.php, style.css, site-logo.jpeg, Convocation anounce.jpeg
     (or just let the upload overwrite them)
  3. Upload pico-site-2026-09-04.zip, right-click > Extract, then delete the zip
  4. Open https://www.pico.org.pk/otc-merit-list-2026-27.php and check
  5. Google Search Console > Sitemaps > submit  https://www.pico.org.pk/sitemap.xml

UPDATING THE LIST LATER
  - Edit includes/merit-data.php only.
  - When the final list is issued: set 'status' => 'Final', update 'updated' date and the rows.
    Title, H1, notice box and schema switch automatically.
  - Requires PHP 7.4 or newer (cPanel > MultiPHP Manager).
